Pickup & Delivery Policy

At Forester Family Farm, we strive to make receiving your order simple and convenient. Please review the following pickup and delivery policies before placing an order.

Primary Pickup Location: Shell Knob, MO

Delivery Area(s): Barry County, Stone County, and within 50 miles of the farm.

Farm Pickup

Orders may be picked up at our farm during designated pickup days and times.

Customers are responsible for arriving during the scheduled pickup window provided at checkout, by email, or through other communication from us.

Please follow any posted signs or pickup instructions when arriving at the farm.

Farmers Market Pickup

When available, orders may be picked up at designated farmers markets.

Customers selecting farmers market pickup are responsible for collecting their orders during market hours.

Orders not collected before the market closes may be considered abandoned and may not be eligible for a refund due to the perishable nature of our products.

Community Pickup Locations

We may offer pickup at designated community locations, drop points, businesses, churches, or other approved locations.

Customers are responsible for arriving during the specified pickup window.

Products left beyond the pickup window may not be available for later retrieval.

Local Delivery

When offered, delivery is available only within approved service areas.

Delivery schedules may vary based on:

  • Weather conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Seasonal demand
  • Staffing availability
  • Vehicle availability
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

While we make every effort to deliver on schedule, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information
  • Providing accurate delivery information
  • Monitoring email and phone messages regarding orders
  • Being available during scheduled delivery windows when required
  • Promptly refrigerating or freezing products after receipt

Missed Pickups

If an order is not collected during the designated pickup period:

  • Products may no longer be available.
  • Additional fees may apply.
  • Store credit may be offered at our discretion.
  • Refunds may not be available.

Because many products are perishable, we cannot guarantee replacement of abandoned orders.

Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect address information
  • Inability to contact the customer
  • Unsafe delivery conditions
  • Lack of access to the delivery location

Additional delivery fees may apply.

Refunds may not be available for failed deliveries caused by customer-provided information or circumstances beyond our control.

Product Responsibility

Ownership and responsibility for products transfer to the customer upon:

  • Successful pickup by the customer, or
  • Completion of delivery to the agreed location

Customers are responsible for proper storage, handling, and food safety after receiving their products.

Changes to Pickup Locations or Delivery Schedules

We reserve the right to modify pickup locations, delivery routes, schedules, and availability when necessary.

Whenever possible, customers will be notified in advance of any changes.
