Why We Farm
We started this farm with one simple goal – to raise food we could feel good about feeding our family.
After years of watching how food was produced in large commercial facilities, we decided we weren’t willing to accept that standard for our kids. So we took matters into our own hands.
What started as a mission to feed our own family grew into something more, because we knew we weren’t the only ones looking for clean, local food raised with integrity.
Now we’re proud to bring that same standard directly to families in our community.
What Makes Us Different
We’re a small family farm — not a big corporation.
Every animal on Forester Family Farm is raised right here on our land with daily care, room to move, and access to fresh pasture. We don’t use antibiotics, we don’t cut corners, and we don’t chase shortcuts.
We’re a values-based farm that prioritizes transparency, integrity, and the ethical treatment of every animal in our care, from the day they arrive to the day they reach your table.
It’s not the fastest way to farm, but we believe it’s the right way.
Meet the People Behind the Pasture
We’re Billy and Eva Forester — a veteran, a detective, a healthcare worker, and two parents of seven who decided that building something of their own was worth every early morning and long day it takes.
Billy retired from 20 years of active duty in the U.S. Army in 2023 and now serves his community as a detective with the local sheriff’s department while building this farm from the ground up. Eva spent years in healthcare caring for the elderly before turning her full attention to raising their family and growing this dream alongside Billy.
This farm is our home, our mission, and our way of life, and we’re honored to share a piece of it with you.
