At Forester Family Farm, we take pride in producing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service. Due to the perishable nature of many farm products, our refund policy differs from that of traditional retail stores.

Perishable Products

Because food products are perishable, we generally do not accept returns once products have been picked up, delivered, or shipped.

We encourage customers to inspect their order promptly upon receipt.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in situations including:

  • Incorrect products provided
  • Missing items from an order
  • Product quality concerns
  • Orders that cannot be fulfilled by us
  • Other circumstances approved at our discretion

Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Product Quality Concerns

If you believe there is a problem with product quality, please contact us as soon as possible.

To help us evaluate the issue, we may request:

  • Photos of the product
  • Order information
  • A description of the concern

Approved claims may result in:

  • Replacement product
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund

The remedy offered will be determined at our discretion.

Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive the wrong item or believe part of your order is missing, please notify us within 24 hours.

If verified, we may:

  • Replace the item
  • Provide store credit
  • Issue a refund for the affected item

Customer Errors

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Orders placed incorrectly by the customer
  • Failure to attend scheduled pickup times
  • Failure to provide accurate contact information
  • Failure to properly store, handle, or prepare products after receipt
  • Change-of-mind purchases after fulfillment has begun

Deposits

Deposits for bulk meat orders, custom processing, CSA shares, subscriptions, or special orders are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Deposits reserve inventory, production capacity, or processing appointments and may not be recoverable once commitments have been made.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before fulfillment begins by contacting us directly.

Once fulfillment, packaging, processing, or delivery preparation has begun, refunds may not be available.

Our Right to Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Processing delays
  • Pricing errors
  • Suspected fraud
  • Circumstances beyond our control

If we cancel an order, customers will receive a refund of amounts paid for unavailable products.
